Craving: candy color gemstone earrings

via Kate Spade

Confession, I actually already own these. J bought them as one of my birthday presents last month. Either way though, I'd been crushing on them for awhile by then and now I can attest that they.are.awesome. I'm not normally a pink girl, but I love this color- more of a raspberry than a pink, letting them be playful and girly, but still pretty glam at the same time. And although I rarely wear studs (much more of a dangly earring gal) I've definitely been making an exception for these beauties.

craving: sensibly selfish

I Wanna Be Sedated via Sensibly Selfish

Probably just under a year ago, my friend Kristin talked with me about started a jewelry line. For as long as I've known her she has always had a special gift when it came to jewelry making and design so it only seemed fitting that she turn that passion into a career. Fast forward to a few days ago to when she announced the launch of her company- Sensibly Selfish. The line is fabulous- and exactly what I would expect from her. You see, Kristin has a graceful kindness about her that is paired perfectly along side an innate sense of style and rock star edge- and that translates fully into each one of her pieces. My favorite earrings are above, but every piece is so unique and beautiful it's hard to pick just one. Of course, with prices like hers, you don't really have to choose.

(Congrats on your line, Kristin! I'm so excited for you!)

Craving: Arrowhead Studs

Kathryn Bentley arrowhead studs via Beklina

I'm a big earring type of gal, but sometimes you just need a pair of studs- like when you are wearing an awesome necklace that would compete with said big earrings. And on days like that? These studs by Kathryn Bentley would be perfect. Even more perfect if you are like myself- i.e. not a big fan of diamond or pearl studs.*

*On that note, I also can not pull off a cardigan. One of my best friends can rock all kinds of cardigans- from preppy to eclectic- and always look laid back and cool. Me on the other hand, I look like I'm either dressing as a First Lady or just one apple button cover away from being a kindergarten teacher.
