I was going to say “teaching an old dog new tricks” but 1) I’m not old (I can’t even say middle aged because I hope I at LEAST make it to my eighties and I’m not even 40 yet) and 2) This isn’t exactly a new trick.

This moment right here- where I get to see someone experiencing my work in real time- is one of my most favorite things. The studio gets quiet and if you listen closely you almost always hear the deep inhale that comes at the start of really LOOKING

Well J and I leave for Europe next week and have an out of town wedding tomorrow so today is full of packing clothes, putting liquids into tiny (really not helpful) 3 oz containers and trying to get all of that into our suitcases. Wish us luck! I'll try to upload a board later today, but if not... it's because I'm stuck trying to stop our mail or something fun like that :) I promise there are beautiful images waiting for you next week.
